What can you do if you've been hacked? - Guild Wars Forums

So I lost boatloads (to me anyway)

Am I right in assuming either ANet can but will not roll back my account, or to do so would require them to roll back an entire server?
And if this is the case, is no chance of any compensation, I just have to get on with it?

its simple, nothing, just farm all your stuff back. They wont rollback, recover, spawn, etc any items for you, ever. So... just do PvP and dont PvE anymore. I got hacked last week, i know how it feels.

Anyways GW2 is on the way, i hope they will be smart enough to create something like unknown IP restricted connections or Storage Passwords..

storage passwords would rock!!! as a person whos been hacked in the past and a friend of a person who just recently got hacked a storage password would of saved us both LOOOTTTTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of gold and time in farming.... thanks for being the anti grinding game that you are guildwars LOL.

The only thing you can do once you are hacked is contact support to recover your account. Be ready to give your CD keys to them.

Uhhhh... I don't think there would be any circumstance where someone's account is "rolled back" and has items replaced. Just get on with the game, and maybe you'll get a sympathy present from your friends.
